She was always biting and scratching everywhere she could reach. The veterinarian prescribed corticosteriods and she was on and off them regularly. They made her lazy, lethargic and miserable, and she gained unnecessary weight due to the lack of activity. She was always thirsty, had an overactive bladder, and showed sighs of depression. We were fed up and frustrated. It was recommended that we take her to Catherine at the Animal Den in Kitchener. I?ve never looked back. She was amazing. She suggested several diet changes, supplements and snack foods to try. She talked to me extensively about canine diet and vaccinations, what was recommended and not recommended within naturopathic standards. It was determined by much trial and error and several trips to Catherine for reassurance during Jody?s complete detoxification that Jody was a vegetarian. It took 10 to 11 months of patience and persistence for Jody to transform into a healthy, beautiful drug free dog and I can?t thank Catherine enough.
